There have been two critical announcements in recent months that have affected many rezoning submissions with respect to water resources that many people have missed: Stormwater Management Acceptance and Review Information (Rezoning, Special Permit, Special Exception, and Development Plan Applications); and Resource Protection Area Exceptions and Waivers to Permit Underground Detention in Residential Areas Considered in Conjunction with Rezonings and Special Exceptions. New announcements are expected to be released soon regarding revised RPA Maps, new protocols for determining perennial streams, and new requirements for adequate outfall.
