Virginia Dam Safety Regulations are Under Review - Existing Dam Owners May Face New Costs
The Virginia Soil and Water Conservation Board (VSWCB) is considering a change to the Dam Safety Regulations, an alternative is being considered that would require existing dam owners to upgrade their dams to compensate for the additional potential hazards created by subsequent downstream development.
