The Fairfax County Board of Supervisors (BOS) asked staff to schedule a hearing on December 8, 2003 to increase the newly authorized Chesapeake Bay Preservation Ordinance's "Exception Review Committee" from 7 members to 11
(1 member from each Supervisor's district and 2 members at-large).
This committee needs to be a fair and representative cross section of Fairfax County. So far, not one individual with any knowledge of the land development process or the building industry has submitted a resume for consideration.
Please get involved in this process and nominate a knowledgeable person (who must live in the Supervisor's district that you request to represent – or in the county to be an at-large representative) to your respective Supervisor.
