The Northern Virginia National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) will present a program on Thursday, December 1, 8:15 A.M. – 9:45 A.M., at the Concourse Building – Auditorium in Vienna, Virginia, to assist developers, builders, and others to understand an emerging trend in water quality and quantity control – Low Impact Development (LID). A group of panelists, knowledgeable on LID issues, will explain the goals and purpose of LID and discuss the status of LID regulations in Fairfax and Prince William Counties, as well as under the Federal Section 404 wetlands permit program. Understand the issues of long term maintenance, technical suitability, enforcement and responsibility, monitoring and compliance with water quality standards, and the choices available for land development by attending this seminar.
